July is

July is heat and hay and warm nights and fireflies / July is freedom.
July is fields of daisies and trefoil and long grasses and mowed grasses / July is freedom.
July is meat on a grill and beer in a cooler but if you prefer lettuce and lemonade that’s okay / because July is freedom.
July is a root beer float.
July is fireworks and firecrackers and July is peace and quiet / You can choose, because July is freedom.
July is a starry night with the sound of crickets and July is the Northern Lights shimmering above the pines. July is hot. July is long sunny days skimming over shiny blue lakes. July is a late afternoon in a cool river dancing with dragonflies, slapping at mosquitoes / July is freedom.
Storms and thunder and lightening and rain and in the blink of an eye sunshine again / July is freedom.
July is screen doors and sandy floors and gardens of weeds, but before you know it, July is over.
July is freedom.
